At the beginning of each school year, we host an Open House for interested boys and parents to be introduced to the program, to have chance to meet all of the Adult and Youth Leaders, and to be able to review a showcase display of previous projects and events.

The next important piece of information is to know what unit your boy will be in.
The Woodlands Trail Unit is for boys ages 5 - 10 (K - 5th grade), and is broken down into three patrols by age and grade.

Fox Patrol - Ages 5-6 (K - 1st grade)

Hawk Patrol - Ages 7-8 (2nd - 3rd grades)

Mountain Lion Patrol - Ages 9 -10 (4th - 5th grades)
The Woodlands Trail programming is delivered by Registered Adult Leaders, who are overseen by the Unit Leader, referred to as the Ranger
The Navigator Trail Unit is for middle school boys (ages 11 - 13; 6th - 8th grades).
Within the Navigators program, the boys are segregated into smaller patrol units which are youth led. Activities are directed by a adult leaders referred to as Trail Guides, who are overseen by the Unit Leader, referred to as the Trail Master.
The Adventurer Trail Unit unit is for high school boys (ages 14 - 17; 9th-12th grades).
Within the Adventurers program, the boys are segregated into smaller patrol units which are youth led. Activities of the Adventurers unit are overseen by an adult leader referred to as the Advisor.
After getting a chance to meet us, we will send you a link to start the registration process. This will be done through Trail Life Connect; to register your son(s) and pay the Youth National Registration fee - paid directly to Trail Life USA.
The national registration fees are paid annually on the anniversary date of joining Trail Life USA.
Each Trailman must have a 'Youth Medical Form', 'Activity Permission Form', & 'Trailman Commitment and Partnership Pledge Form' completed. All adults participating in any activities, such as going on camping trips, must also turn in an 'Adult Medical Form'. These forms will be provided.
